New Park Superintendent For ONP

Sarah Creachbaum will be Olympic National Park’s 15th superintendent and is taking over from Karen Gustin, who was named to the post in 2008 and retired this year after 30 years in the National Park Service. Creachbaum most recently served as superintendent of Haleakala National Park on the island of Maui, Hawaii. Creachbaum, who is 54, says she was drawn to apply for the position at Olympic National Park because of the immense natural beauty the Olympic Peninsula has to offer.
