State troopers are reminding Washington drivers to prepare for more winter weather driving conditions. Troopers in Thurston and Pierce Counties responded to more than 4-thousand incidents over a ten-day period during and after the
recent winter storm. Those incidents included: erratic drivers, medical emergencies, road closures, disabled vehicles, downed trees and collisions.
Troopers say drivers need to slow down, avoid unnecessary lane changes, warm their vehicles to allow windows to defrost and drive with their headlights on.
